Pipeline Recompression in New York

Whenever a pipeline segment at your New York site must be temporarily shut down for scheduled maintenance or repairs, we utilize one or more mobile recompression units. This approach significantly cuts down or completely prevents the release of natural gas into the air.

Our portable compression units are set up at one end of the pipeline section undergoing evacuation and are linked via temporary pipes to both sides of the valve in the evacuated segment. These units function to draw gas from the segment being cleared and then actively push (recompress) this gas into a portion of the pipeline that remains in service.

Our units are equipped with modern controls and safety features, and individually can move up to 33 MMSCFD, are rated up to 1440 PSIG, and can be connected together to further increase evacuation rate and achieve zero PSIG in your New York pipeline.
